Talk To Me (2022)

Directors and brothers Michael Philippou and Danny Philippou made the difficult journey from YouTube content creators to the big screen with this debut horror film. They've marked a strong entry point into a over-saturated genre with this stylish and spooky take on the party possession game genre. Taking the concept behind the Ouija board and creating something both new and handy. There are some really cool and interesting shots and the first half of the film is very strong. However, I found that the later half of the film fell apart for me and didn't match the energy and sophistication of the strong start. Overall, it was fun and scary enough to recommend during a pretty great year for movies. I will definitely check out their next film!
