My first experience with a 2020 film release, 'The Invisible Man' was one I hadn't originally planned on seeing. After hearing numerous great reviews I decided to break my hiatus and visit the theater and I'm glad I did. This is one to catch on the big screen. It's a nice blend of horror and thrills with unique and well done visuals concerning the invisible man. A lot of these scenes could have easily looked very silly but top-notch special effects make it even more nerve-wracking. My problems with this film are general issues like predictability and not all the actors are too great. Overall, still worth the experience if you're a fan of jump scares or people getting beaten to death by an invisible being, which were certainly the most entertaining scenes.
