Tenet (2020)

I want to first address the lack of a star rating this review currently holds. I don't feel like one viewing of Tenet was enough for me to fully process the film. Truthfully, its a bewildering experience that will leave your head hurting if you try to consume it all in one sitting. I'd imagine physics majors will even have a tough time. This is Tenets first noticeable negative aspect being that it doesn't give you time to process whats happening on the screen, which is usually a lot to take in on it's own. I want to see it again already though and I want you to go see it at least once as well. I think one viewing is enough to know if you want to dive deeper, which I certainly do. John David Washington's stoic persona is used well by Nolan, even if I didn't fully understand where the emotion was coming from. Or when it was coming from. This will certainly be remembered as one of the defining mind-bender film experiences.
