Palm Springs (2020)

J.K. Simmons is out to murder Andy Samberg in this wild spin on groundhog day. Max Barbakow's directorial debut has it's ups and downs but what it has going for it, is a great cast having fun. Watching Simmons hunt Samberg with a bow and arrow was the best thing I'd watched in awhile. Sure, it dives into some pretty sappy shit towards the end but it was one hell of a ride getting there. I laughed way more than I expected and that's the only reason I need to recommend this rom-com. I don't even need to mention it's inter-dimensional physics and steamy wedding night affairs.
