In all honesty, I could see this rating going up or down after a second viewing. I will tell you now it's not what I was expecting but it's also possibly better than what I hoped for- a quirky horror film with a few twists. Why did I ever think the mind of Charlie Kaufman would deliver something that easily digestible? Halfway through the film I was confident this was my favorite film of 2020. I even recommended it to a friend, who loves Eternal Sunshine. I should probably apologize to that person because these two films from writer/director Kaufman have nothing in common. And the second half through me for such a loop I even fast forwarded a part. With that said, you should definitely still watch this movie if you're down to (mind) fuck. It's easily one most interesting movies that released this year.
