REVIEW: FORD V FERRARI

A surprisingly fresh and exciting film about man v corporation, disguised as 'Ford v Ferrari.' Successful on all accounts; thrilling racing film, emotionally rewarding, and beautifully made. James Mangold's filmography is impressive and it's no wonder he was able to craft this into a compelling film for all audiences. Christian Bale and Matt Damon are so much fun together, with Bale bringing an exceptionally satisfying performance for the legacy of Ken Miles. I wasn't familiar with Miles previously but after this film I respect him as one of my heroes. A great, well-rounded movie, and one of 2019's finest!
