"They're filling his head with American lies!" The Death of Stalin is a very smart historical dramedy. A great ensemble cast amps up the humor while blatant harsh reality continues in the background. All-around this is a very well made film with talent exhibited in all areas; cinematography, editing, sound design. The substance here is not once crowded by the humor- a well struck balance between the plot and the punch-lines helps blend the two into one bizarre affair.
