Review: Red Sparrow

​​Red Sparrow is 2018's first big disappointment for me. The only positive I can see is visually it's pleasant at times- if not brutally perverted, bloody, or both. The script was laughably bad and the acting equally terrible. Even Jennifer Lawrence couldn't seem to get the Russian accent/character down the whole time. I had hype for this film that I'm ashamed of. Joel Edgerton did not need this on his filmography.
