Review: Annihilation

​Annihilated is a solid, interesting concept that's spoiled. The film starts and ends suddenly. The characters are thin as paper and not much story (time) is built into them so not much of an emotional climax here. What earned the third star for me is the use of gruesome shock. Annihilation should have been built as a horror film- it could have been much better. Also, the psychedelic third-eye experience of an ending makes the movie worth a watch.
