​The Big Sick is a genuine and hilarious romantic-comedy about two people from different cultures falling in love. It pushes the boundaries of its genre as well as posing valuable lessons for anyone in Nanjiani's shoes. My girlfriend and I watched this together and we both laughed and cried. Eating every punch to the heart made by this adorable indie gem.
