There's a new beauty that only Moonlight has ever captured in cinema. Experiencing this film is a new perspective that is not often covered in popular media. This is a chance to see through the eyes of a man who's story we need to hear. I love this movie because it's unapologetic and breaks molds built by a culture who's boundaries are slowly being pushed. It is poetic and moving. Each act piecing together fragments of a character- til you forget that it's only a movie.
