"You believe in Jesus now, huh, bitch? Good. Cause you bout to meet him!"
I saw The Hateful Eight during the 70mm Roadshow event featuring the extended film including an overture and an intermission. Even without these enjoyable kinks though, this Tarantino cult masterpiece proceeds like a play. The set is limited, its very long, and it's mostly dialogue based (before the classic Tarantino blood bath commences, of course). Considering it's written by Tarantino what else do you want? All these aspects are perfect and very enjoyable, for the right viewer. If you want to die watching About Time or Emma you may disagree with the five star rating. However, if you actually appreciate the art of cinema then c'mon down! Tarantino is one of the best writers of this time. This may just be his masterpiece.
