Secretary (2002)

​​A quirky comedy with a kink and no shame. What begins as a dark comedy albeit corny, slowly sinks deeper into something special and notable among the 2000's comedies. Starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader with a script based on Mary Gaitskill's short story. You know, the one that also inspired Fifty Shades of Grey. Yes, Secretary is very much the dark comedy version of Fifty Shades. Except Secretary actually manages to be sensible and caring about it's topic. Can a film about BDSM have a happy ending? I won't tell you. But you should definitely watch this film if you're in the mood for something both sweet and spicy.
